Objective
To provide expertise and services on all matters related to human resources management and administration of the Corporation.
This Department performs the following activities:
1. Formulate, recommend and implement Human Resource Policy of the Corporation.
2. Identify training and human resource development opportunities;
3. Formulate, recommend and implement Schemes of Service
4. Prepare, develop and implement procedures and policies on staff recruitment.
5. Formulate and implement Administration Policy of the Corporation.
6. Administer employees' welfare or matters;
7. Prepare personal emoluments budget;
8. Administer recruitment, promotion and appointments;
9. Maintain and update staff records and staff database;
10. Ensure that meaningful appraisals for all staff are carried out on a regular basis;
11. serve as Secretary to the Appointment, Disciplinary and Review Committee;
12. Ensure that the Corporation’s succession plan is meaningful and effective;
13. Prepare job listing and seek approval for implementation;
14. Ensure that the Corporation is adequately manned in accordance with budget;
15. Prepare and administer training programs; and
16. Ensure that the Corporation’s grievance and disciplinary procedures are observed and that all relevant documentation is completed;
This Department is led by a Manager.
